I think it’s worth remembering that European colonial settlers were welcomed into the middle east by Palastinians who sought to help them settle. The result was the colonial European settler zionists enacted the Nakba to establish and secure a Jewish state violently displacing 750,000 Palastinians from their homes and lands. Dozens of massacres, including the attack on Deir Yassin, created extreme fear. So when Israel speaks of 7/10 and the Nova Festival remember that was not the start of attrocities in the region. Since then it’s been the biggest military machine washing war against a population who’s response was to defend themselves with small arms stones and rocks. This is not a war between two armies, it’s a war against civilians and a genocide.
