Selling online is so convenient as to banking and other things also but let’s be honest the real reason so much is done online now is to maximise profits through reduction of branches, shops, so reducing down workforces and saves on energy bills from those branches and shops. Yet it is noticeable that remaining workforces do not benefits from those savings and delivery drives get low pay wages with high workload and during all of this the ones in charge see wage increases and greater time spent working from home. The net result is that people go out far less, as everything including food drink and others goods can all be delivered to your home, so pubs, restaurants all struggle to get enough people in to pay.
This new modern way in reality doesn’t make our lives better but it does make the billionaires richer and we all know one thing for sure, they do not share those increases in wealth with the wealth producing workforce at all.
