My heart aches

My empathy resonates,

My so finds a peaceful place

I cleanse my mind of hate,

And instead I love embrace

And share it every day,

For me kindness is everything

I find it so completely inspiring,

And lightens my vision,

When things go dark

I never bite but I can bark,

It gives me no pleasure

But it comes out of frustration,

From other people’s hesitation,

To unite and care for our fellow man

Refusing simply to join hands,

And share a life of peace and love

For after all this should be enough.
