The song of autumn and winter

The bifurcation of my being

Melancholic and in the dawning,

Of this autumn Eldritch life

Surround by trees and forest,

Where I dwell in solitude

Among the mist and webs,

That hang on bushes and trees

Like precious decorations,

Sparkling dewy for all to see

As my footsteps crunch,

On the frozen white ground

Under a chiaroscuro sky,

With the early morning sun

Breaking through bring life,

Back to nature and to my eyes

Knowing there is no reprise,

Of the summer just gone

But now I am just tuned in,

To the autumn winter songs

Among the verdant throng.
