A dalliance with religion
Turned me spiritual,
Living life is better
When you live by your own rules,
Rather than dogmatic doctrines
That we know are man made,
I will put my faith in the universe
Rather than fearing the trumpet call,
Because religion works on fear
And spirituality does not that’s clear,
For it’s rooted in positivity and love
And unity and light and that’s enough,
To help us towards awakenings
That lift our frequencies higher,
Rather than to oppress and control us
It doesn’t speak about burning in hells fire.
