No lover of blood,

I will not fight

For your brotherhood,

You oligarchs and despots

Fuelled by greed,

I will not be conned

Into making others bleed,

I won’t travel afar

To kill my fellow man,

I will not surrender

To your psychotic plans,

I won’t be no hero

And lay my life down for you,

For you won’t die for me

And this is the truth,

I would be just a number

Who the warmongers forgot,

They won’t care as I die and rot,

They’ll simply throw more

Into the funeral pyre,

Because they won’t be on the frontline

They be safe back at home,

Killing women and kids

With their bombs and their drones,

I will not sacrifice my life

For liars, paedophiles and cowards,

I will not offer my life

For this global corrupt shower,

It’s all just a game to them

But my life is worth more than that,

And yours should be too

So don’t be complicit in their acts,

Put down your weapons

And withdraw from the killing fields,

And maybe one day we can hope

That our entire humanity can heal.
