Supplicated

Down i kneel in supplication

Embarrassed by man’s brutish actions

Towards nature and all of its creation’s

Leading earth to annihilation.

Without care man turns his hand

To exploit and destroy this land

Rather man should Nurture and cherish

This paradise so it does not perish.

But there is not profit they can see

In keeping our lands green and clean,

For these men are of darkness

They are men of greed

They don’t care what this planet needs.

They just rape and pillage all they can

For they represent all that’s wrong in man.

Some people are a part of the cure and others a part of the disease. Your position shines clearly through in this piece, great job approaching such a vile issue!

      2. We are all equal in life as we are all one. Connected through creation and consciousness.

Are you a Buddhist? That reminds me a lot of the concept of interdependence where you’re defined by your relations to others. You’re not a daughter without a mother, a sister without a sibling, and so on. And it goes even further than that as you may or may not know…

      4. I practice it but I would not call myself one. I also follow Toltec beliefs. I try not labelling myself I just try to be loving and kind. But study of quantum physics confirms we are all one from once source.

No worries I’m not a fan of labels either. I unconsciously began to incorporate Buddhist beliefs in my life a few years ago and now, as I study Buddhism, I’m developing a newfound appreciation. I really want to learn more about Buddhism and incorporate more of it into my life because I think everyone can benefit from it. And the best thing, I think, about Buddhism is how everyone can follow it. If you’ve had meaningful life experiences, overtime you kind of begin to develop these Buddhist ideals all by yourself even without realizing. And the Buddha emphasized that. I apologize if I’m just telling you something you already know, I’m really passionate about Buddhism.

      6. I agree fully. Buddhist practice can be time consuming and I would love to have time to do more but because I don’t I won’t call myself one. I have read though the Tibet an book of the Dead and other books by Buddhists. It’s good you follow it. Of all religions it’s the one that does not require you to worship or feel guilty.

Quantum physics blows my mind whenever I hear about it because it can be taken literally and metaphorically in almost every sense.

      8. Buddhism and quantum physics share so much. Except Buddhists have know what the quantum stuff was hundreds of years before lol 🙂

Both are deeply scientific and share similar beliefs, yes. That’s another thing that sets Buddhism apart from other religions — it’s scientific and not as much faith- based which works for some people but not for others. In my opinion, you should just follow whatever works for you. If you choose to label yourself, fine, but you don’t always have to.
