We cannot hide away in shadows

and disappear among the crowds,

hoping to avoid the responsibility

for our life and times,

we cannot simply leave it up other people,

for only you know what it is you want to do

and you know this is the truth.

In life sometimes you have to brave,

stick your head above the trench and have your say,

sometimes you have to be forceful with your views,

if people are to listen and understand you,

and just what it is you need to achieve all your dreams.

So don’t be a shrinking violet

and never dim your light,

make sure that you don’t hold back

instead live your life,

as if there’s no tomorrow

and shine your love and light on everyone

and show them your aspirational dreams.
