Mighty sea

Dark night

Fog moves in,

Lonesome sound

Of the fog horn

Chiming,

Out a forlorn plea.

Stay away from

Rocks beneath,

Shipwreck warnings

Sailors lost,

At sea.

Clinging to

The debris,

Ocean waves

Swallow and

Drown them,

Final requiem

To brave men,

Sailors of the sea.

Out in storms

Within its

Teeth,

Fighting for

Survival,

Man versus

Sea,

Man versus

Nature,

In adversity

Man loses

Always to

The mighty

Waves,

It’s unforgiving
Darkness and

Depths,

Lure the Sailors

To their deaths,

In Davey Jones’s

Locker,

That watery

Grave.

I wish to be just one of those rocks and nothing more.

  2. Just wanted you to know that the poem you liked “Process of Life and Death” on lovesillusionblog was stolen from my blog word for word! It’s my ex stalking me and posting other crap about me. That’s my poem!
