Helping out

First they need you

Can’t stand on their feet without you,

Then you help them up

Give them a firm based to stand on

Asking for nothing in return

And then they have no need for you

And then you barely hear from then

And you realise you are now surplus to requirements,

Until they fall down again

And they will because they learn nothing,

Then they will need you again.

    They weren’t out to learn. Those who cry the biggest sobs are out to play games, “to get attention”.
