Devastated forest

They hacked down trees

all for grazing land

for cattle to feed

man knows little

about how nature

truly works

and so it makes mistakes

spread disease like myxomatosis

nearly wiped about the rabbit species

introducing other species

in to unnatural countries

like the grey squirrel in the UK

has nearly wiped out the red one today

do you think that we

should place any trust

who misunderstand

nature this much

do you really believe

man can place its hand

on the environment

and creations plan

when it get’s it wrong

time and again

humanity is the menace

in these lush forests and plains

we should work harder

to learn our place

understand we are not

the superior race

but equal like others

and so should refrain

from hunting down foxes

or placing the blame

of TB on badgers

then instigating culls

because in the end

we just do not know

so let nature just take

care of it’s self

so please leave well alone

leave this to creation itself.
