Don’t get it twisted

I write fiction that’s all

Don’t get it twisted or confused

It’s a unreal world of imagination

A simple process of artificial creation

It’s not all a reflection of real life

Except my political or spiritual writes

Environment and animal rights

Everything else is an illusory ride

Thoughts in my head

So don’t be led

Into poems about love are anything else

Just thoughts on emotions and passionate rhymes

Thoughts crossing my conscious mind

In a fleeting moment that are not real

Just a reflection of how others feel.

    1. Poetry about loss of my daughter and my grandson’s illness are real enough and painful. That’s why I look for escapism.
