Why is it that we don’t think

about the big things,

but kick up a stink

over trivial things,

our priorities on many things

no longer connect

there is a missing link,

everything is so top show

there is no substance,

where there was once a flow

it’s now just blocked with rubbish

and this reflected by society

a media created dichotomy,

between what’s important

and what’s not worthwhile

and they led us down a road

of knee jerk retaliations,

and so just spun out

bad information,

that cause need for conciliation

and at the root of this

confused consternation,

lay those who without explanation

put all of this into creation,

to bring about a degradation

of what is really going on in the world.
