Truth is,

I don’t need this,

Negativity on my TV,

It’s not my reality,

No its not my thing,

All this war and violence 

Bloodshed and dead bodies

Across my plasma screen.
Truth is,

I don’t need this,

Negativity on my TV,

I don’t want to see

Politicians lying to me

And deceiving,

Because their greedy,

Lusting for power

Like mad things.
Truth is,

I don’t need this,

Negativity on my TV,

It’s not my reality,

No its not my thing

Religious leaders

Preaching hypocrisy

Telling me God will forgive me,

If I surrender unto them

And give up my own authority,

But I am free,

Like I am supposed to be,

God gave me free will

To live individually

And not just I’ve compliantly.
Truth is,

I don’t need this,

Negativity on my TV,

It’s not my reality,

No its not my thing 

I want to live my life,

In love unconditionally 

In the light and positivity,

In the knowledge

That I am happy just to be.
