When the rich walk in our shoes

I wonder what would happen

If the rich became poor

Would there be food banks anymore

Would they accept being downtrodden

And oppressed

Or would they scream and share about the unfairness

I just would like to them walk in our shoes

Just see how they would act and what they would do

Denied of opportunity and any chance

I wonder if they could any different

When deactivated for being the wrong class

Being called lazy told always sitting on your ass

When you know that ain’t true but it does matter

What do you do when it seems that societies against you.

  1. I believe I can do well being rich. They, on the other hand…
    But, what constitutes “rich”?

    1. I think, 1% rich. Those mostly of inherited wealth and those need into it. Alan Sugar and Richard Branson could probably to poor to a degree because they come from humbled beginnings.

      1. To me, “rich” is having money left over at the end of the month (after all the bills, utilities, food, and other essentials are paid) and still have a few dollars to save away. That’s rich… No, I’m far from rich.
