People don’t see people

People don’t see people

They see colour, religion and gender,

They witness two men or two women kissing

They don’t see love they just see wrong,

They just feel homophobic.

See a Muslim what do they see

An extremist terrorist,

They only think he may have on a suicide vest,

Because all they feel is religious hate and intolerance.

People see a black person and they think,

They take drugs and commit crimes,

All they feel is racism and xenophobic.

Why do people put each other in boxes

Is it because it’s easier to judge,

Well think on and ask yourself

What makes me qualified to do that.

See the two men or two women kissing are only feeling love,

The Muslim all they’re feeling is the love for their God,

And the black person is thinking is where is the love?

For they have spent a lifetime

Being the victims of those who judge.

The one thing they all have in common,

Is despite how many others see them,

Is they are connected in love

And not in domesticated judgement.

So maybe it’s time to accept people

For what they truly are,

Not allow your domesticated views

To place them in boxes behind bars,

A prison to your judgemental ways

But here is a chance to set them free,

Start accepting people for the love they share

And not be the ingrained discriminatory,

View that you’ve adopt and been conditioned to believe,

the creator wants us all just to love each other unconditionally.
