No rhyme or reason for these acts
of brutality that stops us in our tracks,
an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind
as Gandhi once defined and prophecised.
No rhyme or reason for these acts
for exploiting our planet and destroying it,
it’s the only place we can inhabit
the only place for us to exist.
No rhyme or reason for these acts
are you more clever than we think and just acting dumb,
do you know something that we don’t know
or are you just a disaster that’s ready to blow,
who knows?
