Sat on a bus and heard an old man reminisce
While a younger man sat and wondered why this is
And the old man said some people believe in reincarnation
Said many people remembered past life experiences
And the young man replied I think it’s all just coincidence
Which made me want to turn and say it maybe synchronicity
But the old man shrugged it off and continued to reminisce
And if the young man had any sense
He would listen to every little word he said
For he was passing on words of wisdom
And worldly wise experience
Built over many years of living life in every moment.
It made me smile to hear him talk the way he did you see
Because he to me was full of knowledge
To be heard by ears that could hear
And eyes open up enough to see.
