Vanity thing

Is this just a vanity thing

Putting up words in the form of poetry

Or am I trying to achieve something deep

I sit and question.

I do for the message

And I do it for the love

I do it because it is there right inside

And if I didn’t give it due release

It would probably end up destroying me.

I’d do it if only one person reads it

I’d continue if someone said that they really need it

I know I may not get popular or even famous

But that’s not what this is about

I do it without any doubts that it feels good

And stimulates my creativity

And expands me and my literacy

And develops me intellectually.
