Time seems to pass so quickly
Wrapped up in the daily monotony
One day blurring into each other
I think it’s time for me to make a change.
People say it’s a brand New Year
Same old issues and shedding same old tears
They ask me why nothings different
I ask them what will they change
Or do they expect it to happen
While just sitting there doing nothing different.
If you want things to change
You got to change what you do
Approach things if different ways
If you want to have a different year
Then you’ve got to be ready to shake things up a bit
I think this is what I will be doing
Maybe this is my resolution
I am going to to try to change my life
So it’s not so stressful
Not such a constant fight to survive
But more of enjoying a future that is more bright.
