Pain inside

I can’t make sense of anything

I don’t know why this is happening,

My eyes are red from the tears

I thought we were forever

But now it’s clear,

That for us there is no forever after

I could almost here your laughter,

Like I was so naive to believe

A single world that you said to me

And it hurts so much, the pain inside,

Eats me away and no matter how hard I try,

I can’t stop and I can’t hide the tears that I cry

And that’s become the story of my life.

    I can feel the pain in this.

    I feel the pain in my dogs eyes (she is 16+ years old). Every day I think is her last as she fades away.

    I feel the pain inside, too.

        Being a dog owner I know it’s like a member of the family. Actually it is.

        As I feared, my “puppy” Pixie, passed away about an hour and a half ago …she was every bit of 16 or 17 years old.
