A subtle thing love can be
It seeks to set the heart free
We have to choose to believe
That within us all is the desiring
A need to be loved and cherished so
It takes a wise person to truly know
The worth that love does possess
And the ability to obsess
When people are not of aware of it
When others feel something is remiss
With their life that they don’t see it’s closer than they think
But need to open their eyes and mind to discover it
It’s deep within all of us yearning, burning for such love
Passionate, wondrous and craved so much
The kind of love of which you can’t get enough
That puts light in your life and a glow in your soul
And soft to the touch that makes the essence flow.
