The media and governments

Along with the people

All congregated around the last tree

And everybody stood shame faced

And everybody agreed it was a dark day for humanity

And as they started to debate what to do

Men turned up with machinery

And took out the tree

Taking care not go damaging its roots

And when everybody striped to stop this

It was explained that a billionaire had purchased it

And was to keep it away from humanity

Because he liked quirky things that were unique

And though many disagreed

There were also many that agreed with this greed

And allowed this audacity

And the congregation mourned that there would be no more trees

Summing up those who hold a power and money.

A reflection of their own stupidity.
