Raindrops

Raindrops on my window pane

Glistening jewel drops cling once again

To the glass before racing down

Tracing to the rain drenched ground

Leaving pools, leaving puddles

These raindrops seem so much in synch

Than my mind that’s in a muddle

Turmoil cause my thoughts to be befuddled

But the rain helps me find calm

Still my mind

And pass the time

In peaceful reflection

And quiet contemplation

In this moment raindrops

Are a friend of mind

As they help soothe and ease

This life, this time.
