I saw her at a demo

Cargo pants and crop top

Hair done up in dreadlocks

She was definitely hot

She made my head turn

She made my passion burn

She may my heart beat

She made my knees weak

And she cried and shouted righteous things

She is an an angel when she sings

Slogans and protest songs

And I knew before to long

I would fall for for her

That I would be besotted

She had an activist mind just like mine

A intelligence that’s so sublime

A wit and common sense all of her own

She was a queen to me

And I will be happy to bow at her throne.
