I am vermilion in death created from cinnabar
My blood so red as well as tangled and barbed
I have been sliced
Then spiced and diced
All for you delectation
And you say it’s all about global privation
But I am not sure it goes that far
And should this be the answer
To feed those who are starved
Scything through forests
Burning and scorching earth
This kind of policy is too absurd
Sixty four percent of land
Now used for cattle rearing
My bovine end life is fast nearing
Even though growing food is appearing
Like the best alternative
To feed the whole world
But is only going to work
If everyone participates
Does not hoards but actually shares
But history tells us it’s easy said than done
Believe being cattle these days is definitely no fun.
