Good body work, shame about the engine

Some treat life like their car

The buff up the body

They keep it shiny and sparkling

The pimp up the look with be dazzling accessories

And show it off to all

And yet they care not one jot about what makes it work

Under the bonnet because they claim not to understand it

Then they complain when it constantly breaks down

When it doesn’t run as smooth as they know it cans and should

Because all their efforts are based on top gloss

External beauty

That they fail to carry out the daily servicing

The tuning of what makes it work to so well

And so it get clogged up and chokes

It struggles to work efficiently and effectively

Because it lacks the love shown to the external parts.

Life is not just about a good body job and looking fine

It’s also about serving our vital internal needs.

So true! A pretty apple benefits no one if it has a rotten core.
