Think before you blink
Allow the thought to sink in
The ink that you drink
Served to you by others
Who may try to inspire
Or maybe poison you
So think before it sinks in
Question everything
Not all words are truthful
Some ink is used to control you
Open your eyes
And open your mind
Allow dissemination of the facts
Be absorbed into your awakened mind
To sever the wheat from the chaff
The words written down
Can be fake or profound
The ink that gets spilt
Can be a stain of others guilt
That they try to impose on you
But this is corrupt and untrue
Question everything you read
So words don’t control you
Think before you blink
Allow the thoughts to sink in

Is more powerful than you think.
