Price to pay

He was happy online

All was well

But what he could not forsee

Was those in the shadows

Who prayed on weakness

Who looked for flaws

To exploit and to profit from

And one day as he sat in his room

He received the news

He was chosen

To have his flaws exposed

To be ridiculed and blackmailed.

He couldn’t take it and hanged himself

Lost and lonely as well afraid

He felt he had no where else to go.

The shadowy figure found out

That he had lost out

Due to the fact his victim bowed out

And he was mad but what could he do

Except find another victim to abuse.

In his dark shadowy room that night

He was taken by suprise

As in the dimness of the light

He saw a figure, a hanging man

Looking vengeful with eyes that demand

Some kind of final retribution

This was the dead man’s solution

And as the shadowy man stared in fear

The apperitions grew gradually near

And as he sat frozen in his seat

The apperitions looked with eyes

Wide and venomously dangerous

Placed its hands on each side of his head

And whispered ‘you were the cause of my death

And so you must now pay the price

For trading extortion for life’

And as he looked the shadowy man in his fearful eyes

He snapped his neck and watched him die

Karma had visited today

And when he was found dead in his place

Nobody cried and nobody mourned

For nobody thought what he did was good form

Nobody believed blackmail and extortion was right

And maybe he face the universes justice that night

He may have believed he was righteous

Exploiting the flaws in others lives

But he who without sin throw the last stone

Only the perfect can sit on righteouness’s throne

And if perfect you’re not, hypocritical you are

Committing crime in your room in the dark

Destroying reputations

Destroying lives

Of people you don’t know but discovered online

No compassion shown

No mercy given

No chance of a happy ending

There is when the internet

Becomes a curse not a blessing

When evil people start expressing

Their lust and desire for money

By exploiting and blackmailing

As well as extorting

It’s advisory to tread with caution

For there is always a price to pay

For destroying others lives this way.
