Where are the doubters
The critical questioners
The dreamers
The anarchists
The true idealists
The troublesome activists
The wise men
The fable writers
The romantics
The philosophers
And the realists
Were all their minds rent assunder
By education and teachers
Who sought to produce fodder for the worhouse and a target for the guns
On battlefields built on lies and corruption
Where are the existentialists
And all the nihilists who question everything
Why have we created so many societies that no longer resist
The destruction of humanity through war and environmental chaos
Why have we created societies that seem so riddled with pathos.
