Snow day

A world away

From summer days

Shivering and freezing

Leaves me dreaming

This picturesque view

From a window

Is so beautiful to see

But working outside in it

Is ideal to me

I prefer the sunshine

But I appreciate all seasons

I feel gratitude for all the seasons

They all bring something new

I love nature and that’s the truth

But snow is something I’d choose to

View from my window

Rather than work in it

I’d be happy having fun in it

I just don’t enjoy working in it

But that’s how life is.
