Tree lover, that’s me

I look to the horizon

And I see ranges of trees

I am always awestruc

For the inspire me breathtakingly

For many have stood the tests of time

And are ancient and far older than me

So I don’t understand why cutting down these trees

Is an undertaking adopted by some so easily

To build their concrete structures that undermine natures beauty

Do we take for granted the need for trees?

After all without them we can’t breathe

Eldrich and ancient I worship thee

In your dignified towering strength

I bow down in homage to every tree I see

And would encourage all too plant new seeds

To grow future generations of trees

To benefit our children and their children to see

The importance of natures gifts to you and me

For every forest lost or reduced I grieve

For I love natures finest things

I appreciate what they give to me

And I give gratitude back to thee

For the wonder of nature and its sentinal like trees

Standing tall and gigantically

With their various shades of green differently shaped leaves

Appear so magnificent when they sway elegantly

In the wind and breeze dancing sophisticatedly

Trees are everything to me

In fact the are the vefy air that I breathe.
