People spread lies that they’ve been fed
Put it on social media
Making out the poorest have it easy
In a world that lacks any equality.
Life ain’t easy gor the poorest
Every day they scrimp and scape
Just to survive and make ends meet
Just to put shoes on their kids feet
Then they’re critisized for the slightest luxury
That may happen to come their way
Or because they saved so hard
But they’re subject to being beaten up everyday
In the press, on the tv, on the internet
The better off keep pointing at them
As though they’re the pro lem for being poor
God forbid they should Wang or ask for more
Ignorant opinions that don’t mean shit
You have absurd views but please keep them quiet
You seem far more intelligent when you’re silent.
