In my finery
I am non binary
Plasters cover my eyes
That are blinding me
No gender rolls
No rabbit holes
Can’t get lost in a box
But you can be found
With a label
Call me a little unstable
But I regret this so I am able
To be existential
And totally free
I just present
As a human being
I am not defined
As a mathematical code
I am not playing a role
So I can be controlled
Nobody needs to know what I am
I am just part of the humanity fam
United as one
Divided by none
Class and colour
Don’t matter, do one
Regardless whether
You’re old or young
Left or right
We’re all just one
I don’t want to court attention
I just just want to be free
All I want is just to be me
Judgement doesn’t ever bother my belief
It’s only what you choose to see
And most of the time
It ain’t the real me
Because you miss my authenticity
Blinded by conditioned ways
Domesticated sad to say
From the moment I was born
Until I fade away
Labels will never be displayed
Upon me.
