A blight on life

I work in a job

Where we clear

Three fly tips a day

Clearing the rubbish

Others dispose of

What others throw away

Dumping it in forests

On beaches and country lanes

They care nothing

For the environment

Or for their communities

They are messed up

In the brain

To dump furniture

Round places you live

To dump all kinds

Of builders shit

In areas of natural beauty

Or where kids may play

Is offensive to me

What is in the minds of those

Who create the urban decay

Who could ever believe

That fly tipping

Is ever really OK

Destroying our ecology

Making such a mess

I cannot understand their thinking

What they do it makes no sense.

  1. Things are made so cheaply now that nothing’s ever mended, just thrown away. We’ve made our world a big trash dump.
