Why can’t we be happy alone
Are we not enough
And do we lack enough self love,
Why can’t we be happy just being us
Why do we find a need to place all of our trust,
In somebody else, rather than in ourselves,
We must learn that solitude can be bliss
As wonderful as that first kiss,
We can if we try to learn to be happy on our own
Learning to root ourselves in self love can only help us grow.
Sorry to say this but I feel that only weak people cannot live alone. Surely we need somebody around every now and then, it being the human nature to be interdependent for one or the other things in terms of both tangible and intangible stuff, but there is a certain difference between basic interdependency and being needy of another person; that neediness is surely a sign of not recognising one’s own void that needs to be filled by oneself, not anybody else because that void fulfilment makes one a complete human being, only after which one is capable enough to make further connections than the basic interdependence.
