Remember summer

And the meadow filled with wild flowers blowing in the wind

Remember summer and the warm breeze caressing our skin

Remember the blue sky and the sounds of children’s laughter

This is something I’ll take with me into the hereafter

Remember love, and the songs regaling it

Remember as we both sat sitting in the calmness

On s beach top looking out at calm and beautiful mirror like sea

Remember all these things and I’ll remember you and you’ll remember me

And that’s as wonderful as the summer long memory

As we sat watching the birds hopping from tree to tree and the bees buzzing merrily

Remember the summer days

Remember me and I’ll remember you and the thing we chose to do
