The government judges me

The government doesn’t love me,

I feel like a kid suffering abuse

From a bad parent, I feel I am being used

And I don’t understand why?

Why would you send me off to war to die?

I just want you to love me,

Why would you use the media to spread all of your lies?

I just want you to love me,

Why would you poison my earth, sea and sky?

I just want you to love me,

Why would kill all the other species out of greed?

I want you to love me,

Why would you cut down all the trees

And damage with our ecology

Why would I let you get away with this?

Fuck it, maybe it’s because I don’t love me,

Because you do not love me

And maybe this is why

Just like a neglected child,

I turn against those who abuse me

And those who exploit and use me,

Because I see the monster that you truly are,

Within my conscious reality

I know my government doesn’t love,

Because it’s just a corrupted destructive machine.
