Bittersweet memories

That longing kiss

There is so much about you

That I really do miss

You were temptation

You were my bliss

And I can’t get over this

You disappeared in the ether

There was no one sweeter

But now I am left with a sour taste

My heart has been broken

And thrown in the waste

Such disregard is a disgrace

See the tears stream down my face

As you walk away

Never to be seen again

And that’s the reason

My life is so full of pain.
