Questions, questions
But never any answers,
Who can shed a light on why
Life for some has to be do hard,
In a world of plentiful
Why do some have so much,
Yet others have nothing
Which is strange in a world where there’s enough.
Is that some are greedy and hoard wealth
Is it that others are lazy and don’t try touch,
But some wealth is passed on down
And never actually earned,
Some who do not have enough
Were not given the chance to learn,
We live in a society that happy with what they see
Blatant and obvious inequality,
Why can’t wealth be dispersed a lot more fairly
Why can we not promote sharing instead of greed,
And give everybody an equal chance of a good education
Instead of leaving people in ghettos building up frustrations,
Everybody has a talent be them rich or poor
Can we not show gratitude and some appreciation,
That a world that lives equally can all feel invested
Rather than leaving a some people utterly uninterested,
Questions, questions
I ask them but no answer is returned,
Because those on top want the status quo to be reaffirmed,
Because of how much they benefit from others suffering,
How can we allow this to keep happening.
