In quantum fields of existential living
I drift aimlessly, without body or being,
Just in a state of consciousness
No physical mass to weigh me down,
Yet retaining all my thoughts, dreams and memories
Just light particles and waves,
Sojourning through the universe
And you ask am I no longer a part of existence,
And I reply, most certainly yes
For we are not just body and mass,
We are energy, the energy found in light
Travelling on wave frequencies, vibrating endlessly,
So does my love end when gone?
I say no, the love is retained for all eternity
Transcending all that we know, think or dream,
So when I am gone know that my love for all remains strong,
And will flow from the stars downwards to where you are,
Like a gift from the heavens.
