I find the judgemental society we live in today frustrating
People who are lucky to be doing well hating,
On those who are down and struggling
Those striving simply to survive,
But the increasing lack of empathy
Sees people being heartless and greedy,
Worried that others may be getting more than them,
Frightened they’re doing more and them less,
These scared judgemental finger pointers
Are clearly insipid and feeling vulnerable,
But why and what about it’s hard to know
Let’s hope they never suffer the same blow,
Of losing their jobs and requiring help
And then in need of sympathy from everybody else,
But you see unlike them we will all give it,
Because we are not selfish beyond all limits, like them.
