Ode to dying

Hollow whispers

Desperate cries,

All the stress

Infecting our lives,

Matters not one jot

In the end,

Life is for living

Don’t save it for dying,

Don’t wait until

It’s almost over,

To live the life you want

Don’t be burdened,

With stress and arguements

While living, it makes no sense,

Enjoy life, be happy,

Drink in all its beauty,

Breathe in all its wonders

This is a call to duty,

And your duty

Is to be kind and loving,

And care and live in peace,

Share, and stand for equality

Because life is to short

But it can be sweet,

Now listen and just breathe

As the fog rolls on the sea,

From the far horizon

To carry us of under sail,

We’ll make our last

Journey home,

Back to our spiritual vale.
