About power and belief,

The Persians and Spartans

The Egyptians the Greeks,

Pompeii was lost to Vesuvius

Did Atlantis really exist

And was it lost to the sea?

Empires and cultures

Powerful yet now gone,

The Incas and Mayans

Sang their sad swan songs,

Whether right or whether wrong

Humanity carries on,

But maybe one day

We’ll have world peace,

And no longer war

But it’s seems it humanities way,

To fight and to conquer

It seems there is no end,

To those who are warmongers

Who seek to make history again.
