Appreciate your life

Another struggle

Another day,

Waking up

What can I say,

More of the same

Yet that’s the way,

But my life is good

I cannot complain,

For others is harder

As they fight to survive,

To eat to live

Or they could die,

Others worry

They’ll disappear

In the night,

For others each day

Is one long fight,

So I appreciate this

And think of them,

And wish there’s more

I could be doing,

It shouldn’t have to be this way

I respect the fact,

They are so brave

And I wonder why,

Some societies

And governments

Are so so depraved,

That they allow

People to suffer.
