Some people use money to buy success

Others of us have to work for it,

It’s easy to buy your way to the top

But it’s much harder to earn it but you get more kudos,

It’s hard when you’re a writer trying to get a break

Then the rich and famous just get in the way,

Publishing biographies everyday

And getting book deals simply based on their names,

Being someone opens many doors

When in truth it opens none when you’re seen as nobody and poor,

Some earn their wealth and fame

But there are more that were born into privilege,

Now don’t get me wrong I am not sore

I just think it shows how money, class, fame and power,

Can guarantee so much so as the achieve your finest hour,

The only thing that being poor and broke guarantees

Is nothing will ever come to fucking easy,
