I see the futility in taking sides

Religious or political sects,

Are all representations of the same lie

They are all a call to order and control,

The herding of the masses so they will follow,

It’s the domestication of the human race

A conditioning into divided states,

That makes it easier to manage and rule

I am awake now and not so easily fooled,

It’s all a distraction to the important things in life

Like family and self development and living life right,

Sharing love, peace, kindness, caring and light

Rather than arguing about faith or the left or the right,

Because in the end as I’ve said they all represent a big lie

And I am not going to waste my time or life,

Being indoctrinated into living like this

I shall adopt an approach of being an existentialist,

Being my own authority which sets me free

Rooted in meditation and mindfully,

Making and savouring each moment in life

Cutting out the stress, suffering and strife,

I won’t be a part of your system no more

I will not be limited by your restrictive laws,

I will be outside of your establishment

Outside of your media and it’s need to feed,

Upon the innocent people barely able to eat,

No I won’t take sides of those who know using the one big lie

That they do it for you and me yet we are the ones that live and that die,

In order that you retain your grip on power and wealth accrued through,

The stack of all the innocent dead corpses

All now extinct from following your system, the big lie.
