It’s the end of the year
Another one ending in tears,
I’d like to say I am hopeful
But I am just going through the gears,
Nothing much will change
It could still get worse,
As the government places under more hurt,
Increasing suffering and poverty and pain
Pretty much then more of the same,
The banks will still be robbing us blind
The media will continue brainwashing minds,
So it’s a new fucking year well ain’t that grand
Man will continue killing their fellow man,
Big corporations will carry on poisoning our lands
And still many people won’t care or understand,
Too busy being distracted by what’s on TV
Controlled by what’s in their phone screens,
Watching more narcissistic wannabes
On Tick Tock and You Tube and living the dream,
Meanwhile others will starve and vulnerable people will freeze
Happy fucking New Year it won’t be so happy don’t you see.
