Back in my younger days

When things got bad,

And we felt we were wronged

By the government of the day,

We took to the streets and effected change

But today all people do is take to their phones

And use social media to construct a post,

And surprisingly very little changes

That’s the differences of the ages,

Sometimes action is needed more than words

Which is good as long as nobody gets hurt,

Sometimes we must show those in charge

Just how angry we really are,

By threatening to pull their system down.
