Complacency is no excuse, so don’t let it take root, within the engine room of you, don’t be sanguine that’s just cruel, that betrays the very heart of you, don’t sit back and rest on your laurels, you’ve still much more to achieve, don’t you start to be idol, don’t settle into complacency.

I have a question about the line “don’t you start to be idol.” Idol is a homophone with idle. They both make sense, although the latter slightly more. I am curious if idol is in error or if it is what you meant. Thank you and have a great day.
